Rick Deuel (JAN. 04)

Paris FRANCE

Training and Documentation Manager

I have been living in Paris since April of 2000. I cashed in my chips at Bell Atlantic aka NYNEX aka New York Telephone and came to work for a small French software company. It has always been my dream to live here and voila! It has been quite the adventure and it is great (except for the politics).

Jeanne Edelson (JUL. 08)

Glen Cove, New York

Nutritionist and executive recruiter

I've had two careers - three if you count child-rearing. I spent 25 years in crisis-oriented public and media relations; positions included Deputy Executive Director of Public Affairs for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority/New York City Transit Authority. I also worked in public affairs and politics, representing elected officials and government agencies.

With so much experience in writing and marketing, I moved on a career that focused on professionals in the creative industry. Working as an executive recruiter, I specialized in opening new branches of international staffing and consulting companies, specializing in government, medical, and the creative industry.

After 9/11, the bottom fell out of the staffing industry and I returned to school to become, of all things, a nutritionist, specializing in working with children and people with eating disorders. I started my own company, which still operates today.

I've recently returned to executive recruiting. Guess I just like starting up and growing businesses.

Divorced, one son, Matthew, 22 yrs old, who now lives, works and goes to school in Baltimore, Md. He's a nationally-certified paramedic, also teaches EMT recertification courses, as partner in a training company headquartered in Washington DC. His goal is a Masters in Public Administration. He works in Arlington, VA, as a paramedic, where they cover the Pentagon, as well as surrounding areas.
